Getting to Tawes Hall, University of Maryland, College Park via Public Transportation

From Reagan National Airport (DCA)

• Take Metro’s Yellow Line toward Mt Vernon Square.  At Mt. Vernon Square (which is the terminus for the Yellow Line), exit the train but stay on the same platform to transfer to a Green Line train toward Greenbelt.  Take the Green Line to College Park-UMD.  See directions from the College Park-UMD Metro Station to Tawes Hall below.

From Thurgood Marshall BWI International Airport (BWI)

• There is a free  shuttle from the airport to the MARC rail station and take the MARC train to Union Station. From there, you can follow the directions from Union Station below.  

From Dulles International Airport (IAD)

• Take the Silver Line toward Largo to L’Enfant Plaza.  At L’Enfant Plaza, transfer to the Green Line toward Greenbelt to the College Park-UMD station. See directions from the College Park-UMD Metro Station to Tawes Hall below. 

From Union Station (AMTRAK)

• Take Metro’s Red Line towards Glenmont to Fort Totten.  At Fort Totten, transfer to the Green Line (go downstairs) toward Greenbelt to College Park-UMD. See directions from the College Park-UMD Metro Station to Tawes Hall below. 

From the College Park Metro Station 
The University runs a free shuttle, the 104 Shuttle-UM , from the College Park-UMD Metro Station to campus.  The closest stops to Tawes Hall are at Regents Drive Garage (Start/End) or the Mitchell Building (Stop #1).  No ID is required to ride the 104 Shuttle-UM.
