Mission
The Consortium on Graduate Communication (CGC) is an international association that supports its members in developing (post-)graduate students’ skills in written, oral, and multimodal communications for graduate school and their future professional lives. The CGC provides opportunities for members from educational contexts around the world to discuss and share resources in pedagogy, curricula, research, and program models for graduate communication. Members collaborate and contribute expertise to further the field of graduate communications support.

Download useful syllabi, assignments, classroom activities, and needs analyses from your expert colleagues, and share of your own. Search by type of resource, mode of communication, L1 or L2, etcetera. (Some are visible to all, others to CGC members only.)

Summer Institute (SI)
The CGC’s flagship event, the annual Summer Institute (currently alternating between in-person and virtual) has become an essential hub for colleagues to gather, connect, and collaborate across graduate communication programs and studies.

Our CGC Chats, Mentoring Mondays, and Communities of Practice allow members and non-members to gather and share ideas and best practices, discuss trends and new developments, and get the answers to questions.
