 CGC Summer Institute 2018

Emerging Identities in Graduate Communication Support

June 10-12, 2018 (Evening reception June 10)

Hosted by The University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor, MI, USA

We are happy to announce the 2018 Consortium on Graduate Communication, where we will provide opportunities to discuss our growing professional field of Graduate Communication and share strategies for providing graduate support.

This year’s Institute, which meets in the lovely Ann, Arbor, MI, focuses on Emerging Identities in Graduate Communication Support. As with the 2017 Summer Institute, we will accept proposals for Works-in-Progress presentations, short presentations on graduate communication pedagogical strategies, programmatic initiatives, and scholarship followed by rich discussion. However, we will also be adding graduate communication workshops to this year’s agenda, which will allow participants to share nuts-and-bolts approaches to written and oral communication support.

We look forward to many rich, fruitful discussions with all of you in a beautiful college town!
