Welcome to https://www.gradconsortium.org (the “Site”), operated by the Consortium on Graduate Communication(“CGC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using this Site, becoming a member, or registering for a CGC event, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our Site.
1. About CGC
The Consortium on Graduate Communication is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting educators, administrators, and researchers involved in graduate communication. We operate for educational and professional development purposes only.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our Site, submitting information, or participating in any CGC program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
c. Membership Fees
Some memberships or event registrations may involve fees. Payments are processed through secure third-party services. All fees are nonrefundable unless otherwise stated.
d. Membership Termination
CGC reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership or Site access at its discretion if these Terms are violated or for other reasonable cause, such as misuse of content or harassment of members.
5. Events and Conferences
CGC organizes conferences, webinars, and workshops. Registration for these events constitutes agreement to abide by event-specific policies (e.g., codes of conduct, cancellation terms, and refund policies) published at the time of registration.
a. Code of Conduct:
All participants are expected to contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and professional environment. Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
b. Photography and Recordings:
By attending a CGC event, you may be photographed or recorded. Attendance constitutes consent for the use of such images or recordings for educational or promotional purposes, unless you opt out in writing prior to or during the event.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site—including text, graphics, logos, images, and other materials—is the property of the Consortium on Graduate Communication or its content creators, unless otherwise noted.
You may:
- View, download, or print materials for personal, educational, or noncommercial use.
You may not:
- Reproduce, republish, distribute, or exploit Site content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Proper attribution must be given when referencing CGC content or resources.
